Chevrolet has confirmed it, starting this fall the Silverado ZR2 will be offered in a Bison version to the delight of all fans of the range. We were treated to a short video showing us the front and rear of the truck, part of the underbody of the vehicle and we were able to see several logos.
AEV logos
We can see that the AEV (American Expedition Vehicles) logo can be found in several places on the future Silverado ZR2 Bison version. AEV is a Montana company and produces parts and accessories for off-road vehicles. That's good, since the Silverado ZR2 is made to go off the beaten path and go on an adventure.
A new bumper
In the video unveiled by Chevrolet, we can see that the Bison version will receive a new bumper with fog lights. Note that there is space reserved for a license plate, which is not currently the case for the Silverado ZR2. It is possible to see that there are two decorative elements on each side of the license plate, but it is impossible to distinguish them at the moment.
Equipment
At the moment we know that the Bison version will be equipped with two new bumpers, four special Bison Edition skid plates, a Multi-Flex tailgate, 18-inch aluminum wheels and much more.
A diesel engine
The Silverado ZR2 Bison version will be equipped with a diesel engine and it should have the same mechanics as the regular Silverado ZR2, namely a 6.2-litre V8 engine.
For now, that's all we know about the upcoming Bison edition of the Sliverado ZR2. Its official unveiling should not take long and count on us to keep you on the lookout for the smallest detail.
