Later this year, SUV enthusiasts will be able to hit the road abord the 2022 GMC Terrain and Chevrolet Equinox. These SUVs have been completely refreshed and promise a renewed experience.
As for the 2022 GMC Terrain, customers will get an up-to-date design, more technology and a brand new AT4 version.
The new Terrain combines turbocharged capability with intuitive technology, a suite of standard and available active safety and driver-assistance features and striking design.
Several new features are expected:
- New front-end appearance, with new fasica and grille designs across the lineup
- Redesigned LED headlamps and LED taillamps on all models
- All-new AT4 model with standard AWD and unique off-road trim, including front steel skid plate
- New 18-inch and 19-inch wheel designs
- Three new exterior colors (extra cost): Marine Metallic, Cayenne Red Metallic and Desert Sand Metallic (AT4 only)
- All-new interior trims and fabrics
- Tech Package is available on SLT and AT4. Includes HD Surround Vision, all-new Head-Up Display and Front and Rear Park Assist
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability
- Built-in Amazon Alexa capabilities
- Lineup includes SLE and SLT at start of production. Later availability for AT4 and Denali
Chevrolet Equinox 2022
As for the Equinox, the 2022 version will feature refreshed styling and a brand-new RS version.
Several new features are expected:
- Refreshed styling with new front and rear fascias, new grille design, new LED headlamps and new LED daytime driving lights
- New RS model with black exterior trim, 19-inch Dark Android wheels, black interior with red stitching and specifc shift knob
- Premier model offers black grille with chrome inserts, new available 19-inch wheel design, logo-projection liftgate, specific interior trim finish and French stitching
- New interior trims on all LS and LT models
- Exterior colors: Blue Glow Metallic, Seaglass Blue Metallic, Iron Gray Metallic and Cherry Red Tintcoat (extra cost)
- Available Front and Rear Park Assist and Automatic Parking Assist
- Outside heated, power-adjustable mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability
